UK VEHICLE VENTURE SWINGS INTO SECOND PHASE

SAN DIEGO - Clean Air Partners Inc. (CAP) and its British partner, low-emission truck developer T. Baden Hardstaff, recently announced the next phase in the joint development of their Dual-Fuel truck project.

During the initial phase of the project, 100 Dual-Fuel truck orders were secured by the CAP-Hardstaff joint venture.

Effective immediately, the joint venture will be dissolved with Clean Air Partners producing Dual-Fuel powered trucks and conversions complying with Euro IV - the EU  vehicle emission levels that go into effect October, 2005 - at the company's soon-to-be-opened facilities in England's Midlands region.

CAP-Hardstaff customers will continue to be supported by the joint venture from Hardstaff's Nottingham headquarters until the new facility opens its doors.

From then on, Clean Air will support all Dual-Fuel products in the U.K. through a selection of Foden dealers for sales and service enabling more regionally based product support.
T. Baden Hardstaff, which operates a haulage fleet including a large number of Dual-Fuel vehicles, supply exhaust and other subassemblies and will provide support to Clean Air Partners' new operation.

The joint venture between the San Diego and Nottingham company's, was formed in 2002 to launch Clean Air's Dual-Fuel technology into the UK Heavy Goods Vehicle market.

Clean Air Partners' Dual-Fuel engines operate on both natural gas and diesel fuel simultaneously.

During normal operation, the majority of the fuel burned is natural gas. Diesel fuel serves as a pilot for combustion that ignites under the heat of compression to produce substantially less nitrogen oxide and particulates than engines burning only diesel fuel without sacrificing diesel engine performance.

According to auto industry specialists, the technology combines the benefits of a diesel engine - quick response to load change, reliability, high efficiency and low cost - with the benefits of a natural gas engine - low emissions and typically lower specific fuel price - to provide a high performance, low emission, cost-effective, cleaner system that also reduces fuel costs.
