COMMERCE EXPORT PROMOTION MAGAZINE REVAMPED
WASHINGTON, DC - 07/28/04 - The US Department of Commerce will soon unveil its "new and improved" Commercial News USA magazine, a catalog-style publication connecting US small- and medium-sized exporters with more than 400,000 potential buyers worldwide.
After a one-year hiatus, the magazine "is being completely redesigned and enhanced to make it an even more effective vehicle for promoting American-made products and services to prospective buyers and partners outside the US," said Greg Sandler, president of ThinkGlobal, Inc., the Massachusetts-based publisher of Commercial News USA.
The newest edition will be published in September under a public-private sector partnership initiative between the US Commerce Department and ThinkGlobal Inc.
The magazine - which features company contact and background information, as well as product photos and descriptions - will be distributed to prospective overseas buyers by commercial specialists at embassies and consulates in 145 countries. In addition, it will be sent directly to overseas buyers, representatives, distributors, government sourcing and purchasing agencies, government officials and potential joint venture partners, said Sandler.
The deadline for inclusion in the next issue, which is scheduled for publication in November is September 3.
