NEW CALIFORNIA WINE WEBSITE LAUNCHED
SAN FRANCISCO - 12/14/05 - IVY Worldwide, Inc. and IVY Luxe, a San Francisco-based luxury company, have unveiled a new joint venture website designed to showcase for the producers of premium California wines looking to penetrate major global markets, such as China.
The new website - WineSpring.org - "will build global relationships and opportunity within China and other emerging markets worldwide, help educate and foster understanding for hand-crafted premium California wines," according to a joint statement.
The entire website will be translated into Simplified Text for the Chinese marketplace and "will reach out through unique and innovative programs to the Chinese wine, hotel, and import trade as well as affluent consumer markets in China," it said.
WineSpring.org forged a relationship with TNC Wine Partners LTD of Napa, California, a consortium that represents around fifty top California artisanal wineries.
WineSpring.org and TNC will unveil the new website at the upcoming Shanghai Wine Expo next February.
"We are very excited by the vast opportunities in China. The recent trips by Governor Schwarzenegger, President Bush, [San Francisco] Mayor Gavin Newsom, Senator Dianne Feinstein and members of the California business community highlight the desire to build relations with China." said William Rosenberger, CEO of IVY Luxe and WineSpring.org. "The perfect time to enter a major market is during its formation."
