CORRECTION: SO CAL LNG PROJECT STORY

LOS ANGELES - 03/27/06 - The March 20 "Front Page" article on the Southern California Woodside LNG project incorrectly stated that "Woodside - which is calling the plan the "OceanWay Secure Energy Proposal for California" - is partnering with Southern California Gas, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, which would operate the system."

To set the record straight, Southern California Gas Co. is not "partnering" with Woodside on this project.

According to Denise King, communications manager for Southern California Gas Co. and San Diego Gas & Electric, "the company's role is the same with this project as any other LNG terminal development."

If an LNG facility is built, says King, "Southern California Gas will construct facilities necessary to receive the re-gasified LNG at a location into our system with the costs of that pipeline enhancement would be borne by the LNG developer."

The archived story has been corrected and the CalTrade Report apologizes for the error and regrets any misunderstanding drawn from the incorrect information in the original piece.
