REALIZATION TECH NAMES INDIA MANAGER
SAN JOSE - Thru-Put India, one of India's largest consulting companies has been tagged to manage Realization Technologies operations in that country.
Realization provides the next generation of project management software that enables multiple projects to run faster and be completed on time. Instead of critical path, Realization's software uses a Critical Chain Engine(TM), which adapts to and manages uncertainties. The company's client list includes Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex, LSI Logic, Medtronic, NASA, and the US Marine Corps, US Navy, and US Air Force.
THERMOGENESIS RECEIVES EU PATENT CLAIMS
RANCHO CORDOVA - ThermoGenesis Corp.has received notice from the European Patent Office of the allowance of 43 additional patent claims for the company's CryoSeal System, a thermodynamic medical device and a companion single-use sterile disposable device that harvests and concentrates the clotting of adhesive wound-healing proteins in blood plasma.
The CryoSeal System has received CE Mark approval from the European Union Competent Authorities and is being marketed by Dideco S.p.A, of Mirandola, Italy. The CryoSeal FS System is not yet available in the US and will require completion of a Phase III clinical trial and the submission of pre-market approval to the US Food & Drug Administration before sale can commence in the US,m according to a company spokesman. SAN DIEGO - Prometheus Laboratories Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company, has been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious Technology Fast 50 program for San Diego.
The Technology Fast 50 rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1998-2002. The rankings are scheduled to be announced later this month. Companies qualifying for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1998 and $1,000,000 in 2002, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be "technology companies" defined as companies that own proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or that devote a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.
This year's San Diego Technology Fast 50 program is co-presented by Deloitte & Touche, Comerica, Cooley Godward, Fleishman-Hillard, Focus Creative, KPBS, Marsh, R.J. Watkins, and the T Sector, in association with AeA and BIOCOM.
Winners of the 20 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the US and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
