AMERICAN HONDA RECOGNIZES TOP SUPPLIERS
 
TORRANCE - American Honda Motor Co. has presented its "Premier Partner Award" to 15 American Honda suppliers for their excellence in quality, value and customer service.

The 15 award recipients were selected out of 74 nominated suppliers by American Honda associates nationwide.

The Premier Partner Award winners represent industries as diverse as Internet consulting and development, public relations, rail transportation, customer care, marketing research and management consulting with California-based companies dominating the list.
 
The Awards were established in 1998 to recognize suppliers who embrace American Honda's philosophy of meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

The 15 American Honda Premier Partner Award recipients for 2003 are: Applied Research-West Inc. (Los Alamitos, CA - marketing, research and & surveys); Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (Fort Worth, TX - rail transportation);  CraneMorely Inc. (Long Beach, CA - sales training and communications development); Data Linkage Software Inc. (Long Beach, CA - software development); Equipment Solutions Division of Snap-On Inc. (Kenosha, WI - tools and equipment); Fisher's Gear and Machine Company Inc. ( Paramount, CA - machine tool supplier); Insight Investments Corp. (Orange, CA - PC equipment lessor); iSKY (Laurel, MD - telecommunications surveyor); R.L. Polk & Company (Southfield, MI - consumer marketing information).

Rounding out the list were The Aon Company (Glenview, IL- process improvement and design); Rogers & Associates (Los Angeles, CA - public relations counsel); Rubin Postaer Interactive (Santa Monica, CA - web development); Sandy Corp. (Long Beach, CA - sales and training communications); Syncata Corporation (El Segundo, CA - eStore and service express); and Urban Science (Long Beach, CA - customer analysis).

MEDICAL HOLDINGS FIRM ACQUIRES MULTI-USE FACILITY

LAGUNA HILLS - Global Medical Products Holdings, Inc. has acquired a finished one-story, 80,000 square foot concrete block and brick facility that is expected to add approximately $6.5 million to the company's asset base, according to a spokesman for the company.

The building has 19,775 square feet of carpeted office space and is located on 15 acres with a 3.7-acre adjoining tract.

The building, located in an undisclosed location in the southern US, was completed in 1995 and is in close proximate to several major cities and industrial areas.

The property has an approximate fair market value of $8,000,000 based on an independent appraisal. There is currently $1,500,000 in encumbrances.
