VERSATA CFO RESIGNS OAKLAND - The Chief Financial Officer of Versata Inc. has resigned from the Oakland software maker for a position at an undisclosed company.
In a brief statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Versata said James Doehrman tendered his resignation as chief operating and financial officer of the company, effective November 17.
The statement said Doehrman will assume "a financial executive position" at another undisclosed company. Will Fredrick, Versata's corporate controller, has been named acting chief financial officer of the company. No other information was given. The 44-year-old Doehrman joined Versata in February, 2001 as Executive Vice President and CFO, He was appointed to the chief operating officer post the following month.
