TRADE SERVICES / FINANCE - November 1 to November 15, 2003

TAMALPAIS BANKS TO OPEN SAN ANSELMO BRANCH

SAN RAFAEL - Tamalpais Bank has signed a lease and started construction on a branch in San Anselmo, which will be its fifth location.

"We went there because it fills out our Ross Valley presence," said the bank's President, Mark Garwood. "It's a great location for us and it became available."

Garwood said the branch will open in the second quarter of 2004, and that the bank intends to open "several more" Marin County branches by the end of 2005.

Tamalpais Bank has assets of $305 million and has 36 employees.
