GEOLOGISTICS OBTAINS CHINA FORWARDER LICENSE
SANTA ANA - GeoLogistics was recently granted a Class A forwarder's license by the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) in Beijing for its international freight forwarding operations in the People's Republic of China (PRC).
The company already offers extensive coverage in the PRC with the operation headed by its Hong Kong office.
The Class A license designation means GeoLogistics will be able to book freight space directly with carriers, allowing it to expand its international logistics business generated from China.
GeoLogistics currently employs more than 2,700 professionals throughout 72 offices in the Asia Pacific region.
FIRMS TEAM-UP TO OFFER AIR SCHEDULE INFORMATION
HUNTINGTON BEACH - Freightgate Inc., a provider of Internet applications for the freight and logistics sectors, have teamed-up to introduce Schedule-Trek!, a new, fully functional desktop application for accessing the latest airline schedules.
The new product can be updated bi-weekly using the Internet, providing customers with more timely and accurate schedule information at a lower cost.
Schedule-Trek! is being offered in partnership with Conducive Technology and Innovata.
