BANK LEUMI EXPANDS LOS ANGELES TEAM

LOS ANGELES - Bank Leumi USA has announced the appointment of Thomas Sullivan as Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer.

He will be located in the Bank's downtown Los Angeles office where he will focus on business development.

Sullivan started his career in New York where he held several positions before joining Bankers Trust Company/B. T. Factors. He then moved to Los Angeles with the same firm. He also worked with Security Business Credit, Inc. and Heller Financial, Inc. before joining HSBC Business Credit (USA) Inc. where he served as Vice President for Business Development.

SMTEK NAMES MILLER VP OF INTERNATIONAL SALES

MOORPARK - SMTEK International Inc. has named Robert Miller as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, in its strategy to penetrate new markets and accelerate sales growth.
 
Miller brings more than 15 years of industry experience, including sales and operations management from Future Electronics Corp., the world's third-largest distributor of electronics components. At Future, he was the regional manager for Southern California, where his responsibilities included selling high velocity supply chain management programs to strategic customers, in addition to hiring, training, and developing sales teams and sales management.
 
Earlier positions included responsibilities for operations, product marketing, customer service and support, and account management.
 
Headquartered in Moorpark, SMTEK is an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the industrial instrumentation, medical, telecommunications, security, financial services automation, aerospace, and defense industries.

The company has four operating facilities located in Moorpark and Santa Clara in California; Marlborough, Massachusetts; and Ayuttya, Thailand.
 
AURA NAMES NEW DISTRIBUTION DIRECTOR
 
EL SEGUNDO - Denise Schneider has joined Aura Systems Inc. as the company's new Director of Distribution.

In her new position, Schneider will report to Marcus Rufer, Aura vice president, product support division. In this capacity, she will focus on expanding Aura distribution channels, both domestic and international, and increasing the level of support for Aura distributors and customers worldwide.

In this newly created position, Schneider will be responsible for the development of dealer and distribution channels, dealer training, marketing and sales support, and dealer agreements and contract management.
 
She has over 12 years of automotive experience with leading global organizations including General Motors, Electronic Data Systems, and Honeywell. Most recently, Schneider was the marketing and customer support manager at Garrett Engine Boosting Systems, a division of Honeywell Inc., which manufactures and markets products in over fifteen countries.
 
Prior to Garrett, Schneider held positions of increasing responsibility with General Motors. These positions included assistant business development manager for General Motors Service in Germany and account manager for GM Parts consulting for dealerships in the New England area.
 
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in marketing from Western Illinois University.  Schneider will be located at Aura Systems' headquarters in El Segundo, California.
