AMX JOINS D-TOOLS MANUFACTURING PROGRAM
 
CONCORD - The AMX Corporation, a Texas-based manufacturer of advanced control system technology, has joined the D-Tools manufacturer partner program to streamline the custom design, specification and estimation process for its dealers and systems integrators.

D-Tools - founded in 1998 and headquartered in the Bay Area community of Concord - develops system design software that simplifies the processes associated with residential and commercial installations.
 
As a D-Tools partner, AMX manages the loading of its product specifications, pricing and dimensionally correct touch panel shapes into System Integrator v3, D-Tools' proprietary project management and design software. Automating the custom installation business and design processes through one programming environment creates an efficient method for accurately designing plans for business proposals.

AMX systems control and manage electronic devices for homes and businesses, including audio/video, videoconferencing, HVAC, lighting, and security systems, and are found in upscale residences, as well as corporate boardrooms, college campuses, and military and commercial network operation centers.
