CONSPIRACY ENTERTAINMENT NAMES EUROPE CEO
SANTA MONICA - Conspiracy Entertainment Corp. has appointed Michael Hayward as Chief Executive Officer of its Conspiracy Entertainment Europe (CEE) Ltd. subsidiary. Based in Cambridge, UK, Conspiracy Entertainment Europe (CEE) was established in January 2004 as a "Value Priced Publisher" with the intention of publishing branded and unbranded titles on PS2, Xbox, and PC platforms in over 25 European and PAL territories via a strong network of leading games distributors. CEE has an exclusive distribution agreement with Conspiracy (US) covering all current and future titles produced or licensed by the company. With over 20 years experience in the games industry as a developer and publisher, Michael Hayward is responsible for completing licensing and distribution agreements with publishers in the UK, the US, Japan and Korea, valued at over $30 million. Hayward started Logotron and Millennium, a pair of software companies that were sold several years ago to the Pearson Group and Sony Computer Entertainment, respectively.
He served 2 years as the Director of ELSPA (European Software Publishers Association), a major industry trade organization.
Since 1998, Hayward has been a business consultant and licensing agent representing various games developers.
