ELITEL DEPLOYS CALIFORNIA-SOURCED TELECOM SYSTEM

SANTA CLARA - Sylantro Systems Corporation has announced that Elitel, one of Italy's largest competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs), has deployed its hosted  communications solution targeted toward the Italian company's customer base of small and medium-sized businesses.
 
Elitel's Futura broadband telephony product is based on Sylantro's carrier-grade hosted communications applications and servers. The new service was launched in Milan and other cities on March 11.
 
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Milan, Elitel has acquired and integrated the operations of six regional Internet Service Providers and two telecommunications resellers, and deployed a network of Class 5 switches to serve all major metropolitan areas in Italy.
 
The company serves more than 160,000 business and residential customers.
 
TELELOGIC'S SYSTEMS NOW AVAILABLE IN ASIA

IRVINE - Telelogic, a developer of solutions for advanced systems and software applications, has released its SYNERGY/CM task-based configuration management software package into Japan, China, Korea, and Taiwan.
  
Using SYNERGY/CM, the company said, development teams "can draw upon multi-language support within a single database for more efficient collaboration on complex development projects."
With headquarters in Malmo, Sweden with US headquarters in Irvine, Telelogic has operations in 17 countries worldwide.
 
Customers include Alcatel, BAE SYSTEMS, BMW, Boeing, DaimlerChrysler, Deutsche Bank, Ericsson, General Motors, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Philips, Siemens, Thales, and Vodafone.
