FWS CONSTRUCTION EXPANDS IN CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON

WINNIPEG, Canada - FWS Construction Ltd., an Alberta, Canada-based  industrial construction company, was recently awarded contracts in California and Washington.

The two projects are a continuation of FWS' increasing business activities in the industrial and wastewater plant markets throughout the US.

The wastewater treatment project in California is a 100,000 gallon per day expansion to an existing facility originally built by FWS two years ago for the Dry Creek Rancheria Casino at Gyserville, California.

The project is the seventh wastewater plant FWS has built in the USA in the past three years.
The company's project for Lafarge involves the design and construction of 6,500 ton distribution cement terminal in Spokane, Washington. This is FWS's first project in the State of Washington.

FWS Construction Ltd. went into business in 1953 and specializes in the design and construction of inland grain terminals, malt plants and feed mills, industrial warehouses, seniors' housing, office buildings, shopping centers, restaurants, institutional facilities, real estate development and environmental projects.

The company - which has over 200 employees and annual sales in excess of $90 million - is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has offices in Calgary, Alberta; San Diego, California; and Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is operating in six provinces across Canada and North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, as well as California and Washington.
