GLENDALE-BASED BANK SIGNS PROCESSING PACT

ATLANTA - Global Payments Inc., a developer of electronic payment processing solutions, has said that Glendale-based United Merchant Services of California Inc. has signed an eight year extension to their agreement with Global for a comprehensive line of payment services including front and back-end processing, as well as bank sponsorship.

United Merchant Services of California Inc. is a privately held corporation providing customized merchant bankcard programs to Western States' community banks offering a full line of financial products to its agent banks enabling them to create and expand their merchant bankcard portfolios.

Global Payments Inc. develops electronic transaction processing services for consumers, merchants, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), financial institutions, government agencies and multi- national corporations located throughout the US, Canada, Latin America, and the European Union.
