BOB SANDIE NAMED SVP AT SeeCOMMERCE
 
PALO ALTO - SeeCommerce has announced the appointment of Bob Sandie as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

He previously held executive level positions with several software vendors including IONA Technologies, webMethods, Veritas Software, Sumitomo America, and Seagate Software.

Sandie assumes responsibility for building and managing SeeCommerce's strategic alliances with OEMs and systems integrators and will report directly to President and CEO John Ferraro.

Sandie joins SeeCommerce from IONA Technologies, a developer of software integration solutions, where he was vice president of business development. At IONA he was responsible for expanding the company's market leadership position and managing strategic relationships with Microsoft, Compaq, Intel, Sun Microsystems and Accenture.

PEDESTAL APPOINTS GEIGER VP OF MARKETING

FREMONT - Corey Geiger has joined broadband developer Pedestal Networks as its new Vice President of Marketing.
 
Prior to joining Pedestal, Geiger held several executive positions at Advanced Fibre Communications, including vice president of product management and marketing where he helped to design corporate strategy and lead its implementation.

Previously, he held senior director positions in sales and marketing at DSC Communications (since acquired by Alcatel). He also held technical and marketing positions in the US and abroad at AT&T Network Systems (now Lucent Technologies), and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
 
Geiger received a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Digital Process Signaling from Georgia Institute of Technology.
