MERIDIAN MEDICAL NEGOTIATES US DISTRIBUTION DEAL

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Meridian Co. Ltd., a Canadian-based developer of diagnostic medical equipment, has said that its subsidiary, Meridian Medical Inc. has begun discussions with several key partners in the US for the wholesale distribution rights of two of it's major product lines.

The company is reportedly in extensive negotiations to finalize a distribution agreement with an as-yet-unnamed California-based health care company to become the US distributor of its patented digital pulse analyzer (DPA).

The California market, Meridian said, "is a crucial point of market entry in the US for the company's integrative diagnostic health care equipment."

The non-invasive DPA accurately measures the elasticity of small and large arteries and provides health care practitioners with critical information regarding arterial aging.

Meridian presently holds a total of 18 worldwide patents on its technology, and has received US Food & Drug Administration, as well as other international regulatory approvals for many of it's products.
