MGM INTERNATIONAL TV NAMES BRADLEY VP
LOS ANGELES - MGM International Television Distribution, a unit of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., has promoted Angela Bradley to Vice President, International Pay Per View and Video on Demand.
In her new post, Bradley will continue to oversee distribution activities for international pay-per-view and video-on-demand programming for stations and hotels. On her watch, revenues for the company's pay-per-view and video-on-demand business have increased more than 300%.
Bradley joined MGM's television operations in 1999 as Director, International Sales Planning.
She later served as Director of International Pay Per View and most recently was Executive Director of International Pay Per View and Video on Demand. More recently, Bradley has been involved in creating distribution agreements with such major international companies as the UK's BSkyB; Filmbank and Front Row; Germany's T-Online and Premiere; Yahoo BB - Japan; Australia's Foxtel, and Korea Digital Broadcasting.
TICKETS.COM APPOINTS EU MANAGING DIRECTOR
COSTA MESA - Simon Crane has been hired by Tickets.com to serve as the company's new European Managing Director.
Dion Luyk has also joined Tickets.com as European Financial Director. Both are based in the company's European Headquarters in Milton Keynes, UK.
Crane brings 14 years of Commercial, Marketing and General Management experience to Tickets.com. He served on the management teams of some of Europe's most successful businesses including Bass Brewers Limited, The Coca-Cola Company, Loftus Road plc, and Jaguar Racing Limited. Tickets.com's B2B website allows consumers to purchase client tickets directly, while the company enables venues to sell tickets and manage operations through private label branded web sites for organizations with e-commerce platforms.
DEL MONTE FOODS COO RESIGNS, COMPANY REALIGNS ROLES
SAN FRANCISCO - Del Monte Foods Company has announced the retirement of Wesley Smith, the company's Chief Operating Officer for the past seven years.
At the same time, the company made public the realignment of several senior roles as the Company moves past the integration phase relating to its merger with certain businesses previously owned by the H.J. Heinz Company. Todd Lachman, Managing Director of Pet Products has been named Executive Vice President of Del Monte Foods, with responsibility for the Del Monte Brands, StarKist Brands and Pet Products businesses, including product innovation. He joined Del Monte from Heinz as a result of the merger and prior to that held a number of marketing roles at Proctor & Gamble. He will continue to report to Rick Wolford.
Nils Lommerin, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, has been named Executive Vice President, Operations, and will have responsibility for all of the Company's manufacturing operations, supply chain operations, engineering, technical services, and human resources. He began his career in operations at Kraft General Foods, held several human resources posts at PepsiCo and was Executive Vice President of Operations and Corporate Services at Oxford Health Plans prior to joining Del Monte. Don Binotto, Managing Director of StarKist Brands has been named Senior Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain. With responsibility for supply and demand planning, logistics, distribution, customer satisfaction, and purchasing. Most recently he successfully led the company's StarKist Brands business and will report to Nils Lommerin.
