UTi ANNOUNCES BOARD RESIGNATION
RANCHO DOMINGUEZ - UTi Worldwide Inc. has announced the resignation of William Davidson from the company's board of directors. Davidson was elected to UTi's board of directors in 2001.
His career in international business management spans roles in academia, as an author, consultant and in investment management.
He currently is president of MESA Research, a management consultant firm that he founded.
MoSys STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH THREE APPOINTMENTS
SUNNYVALE - MoSys Inc., a provider of advanced high density embedded memory solutions, has named three new independent members to its Board of Directors.
Tommy Eng joins the board with over 20 years of corporate management, engineering management, software/hardware design and entrepreneurial experience in system/IC design and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) to the Board of Directors. Most recently, Eng was a founder of Tera Systems, a privately held EDA company as well as serving as its vice chairman, president and CEO. Previously, Mr. Eng served as the General Manager of Mentor Graphics' Advanced IC Design Automation and Design Consultation division. Chi-Ping Hsu has also joined the MoSys Board of Directors. Hsu is currently a Vice President at Cadence Design Systems in charge of the company's synthesis product line. Previously, he served as president and Chief Operating Officer of Get2Chip, a supplier of high performance system-on-chip (SOC) synthesis, which was acquired by Cadence. Also, Jim Kupec has joined the MoSys Board of Directors.
