LACEY JOINS INTL DISPLAYWORKS AS CEO

ROCKLIN - Thomas Lacey has joined International DisplayWorks Inc. as the company's Chief Executive Officer, replacing Stephen Kircher, who will stay on as Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors.

The appointment takes effect October 1.

Lacey joins International DisplayWorks from Intel, where he is currently serving as Vice President of Intel Communications Group, and General Manager, Flash Products Group, where he manages the group responsible for all flash memory solutions used in consumer products, cellular, and other communications areas.
 
Previously, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and President - Intel Americas at Intel Corporation for five years.
 
Before joining Intel in 1981, Lacey was Vice President of Marketing for Opus Systems for six years.

He holds an undergraduate degree in computer science from University of California, Berkeley and earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Santa Clara's Leavey School of Business.
 
International DisplayWorks, Inc. is a manufacturer and distributor of liquid crystal displays, modules, and assemblies for a variety of customer needs including OEM applications with sales offices located in the US, Hong Kong, the UK, and Shenzhen, China.
 
WESTAFF NAMES NEW VP

WALNUT CREEK - Veronica Wolfe-Brickner has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Branch Operations for Westaff Inc., an international staffing company.

Prior to assuming her new position, Wolfe-Brickner was formerly Director of Business Systems for Westaff, where she maintained overall responsibility for the company's business applications and infrastructure.

She served Westaff as an IT consultant for several years before being recruited as a full time employee.
 
Prior to her work as a consultant, Wolfe-Brickner was an accounting manager at Automatic Data Processing (ADP) in San Ramon. She also held the position of Compensation Project Manager at that company. She has served as a controller, corporate accounting manager and legal administrator.
 
Westaff is a leading provider of staffing services and employment opportunities for businesses in global markets.
