The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) has announced the promotion of Jeanne Michalski to vice president, Human Resources and Medical. She reports to Matt Rose, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the Texas-based intermodal rail carrier. Michalski is responsible for all areas of Human Resources, including selection, retention and development of talent, compensation and benefits, diversity, employee relations and medical and environmental health. She holds a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida and her Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of South Florida.
