
LA-BASED ROLL INTL. ACQUIRES FIJI WATER
LOS ANGELES - 11/29/30 - The privately-held Roll International Corporation has acquired Fiji Water LLC, the second largest marketer of bottled water in the US.
The water the company markets is sourced and bottled in the Fiji Islands and is sold internationally.
According to the acquisition agreement, Basalt, Colorado-based Fiji Water will continue to operate as an independent company under the current management team.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Fiji Water, which, like its new parent, is a privately held company with sales operations in Canada, the UK, Australia, Mexico, and a number of Caribbean and South Pacific islands, as well as the US. Roll International is a privately held holding company with a wide spectrum of operations including Paramount Citrus and Paramount Farms, a major grower and processor of citrus fruit, almonds, and pistachios; POM Wonderful, a grower and processor of pomegranates and pomegranate juice; Teleflora, a global floral wire service; and the Franklin Mint, a distributor of high-end collectibles.
